AFC Superbowl Odds

Updated AFC Super Bowl Odds
After last weekend’s games, the playoff picture is set in both conferences and we know which teams will have home field throughout the playoffs.
In the AFC, the New England Patriots finished tied for the best record in the conference but clinched home field because of their week 15 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Patriots offs of winning the Super Bowl is now +225.
Since they are the defending champions, they are the smartest bet, but not necessarily the best.
The Pittsburgh Steelers are the number two seed in the AFC and their current odds to win it all is +575. The Steelers have so many weapons on offense, they will still have a good chance of defeating the Patriots even if they don’t have Antonio Brown back in time for the AFC Championship Game.
Since they have had difficulties defeating the Patriots in the past, they are not the smartest bet, but they are the best value bet in the AFC because if they get past the Patriots, they should be able to defeat any NFC team they face.
The Kansas City Chiefs have the next best odds at +2000, but not too many people are confident in the Chiefs right now, after imploding in the second half of the season. Since they did beat the Patriots at the start of the season, they will be a confident bunch if they have to play the Patriots again.
The Jacksonville Jaguars are next at +2200, but the injuries they suffered last in the season and the act that their quarterback is still Blake Bortles makes it hard to consider them a serious contender.
The Buffalo Bills at +6600 are not a great value because they likely won’t survive their Wildcard matchup against the Jaguars.
The Tennessee Titans wrap up the AFC at +10000. Unlike the Bills, they actually have a chance to upset the Chiefs this weekend, but won’t have a chance against the Patriots and Steelers.
