Atlanta Falcons Super Bowl 51 Update
While the Patriots are the odds on favorites to make it to the Super Bowl from the AFC, the NFC is wide open. Many experts believe that the Atlanta Falcons could sneak into the playoffs with a home team advantage and win their way into the Super Bowl in 2017.
The futures odds being assigned to the Falcons is much more favorable considered to the preseason betting odds. The Falcons are currently the 4th overall favorite to make into the Super Bowl with betting odds at 13/1.
Consider the possibility of the Cowboys bringing back Tony Romo to replace Dak Prescott. If the Cowboys do not perform well, the NFC Championship game could potentially be the Falcons versus the Seahawks. With Seattle’s struggles to put points on the board as of late, the Atlanta Falcons could represent value at 13/1.
With the Panthers chances of making the playoffs looking slimmer, the Atlanta Falcons have emerged as the team to beat in the NFC South. The Falcons will have to finish the season strong to get a place in the Super Bowl. If all of the right pieces fall into place, the Atlanta Falcons could very well find themselves playing for the Lombardi Trophy at Super Bowl 51.
